It’s amazing how at a certain age, the words “driving” and “independence” can be synonymous. A right of passage at a young persons’ life. Yet, sometimes that can be taken away. Inopportune but it happens. It’s a shame but the worst part could be only the pity you receive from others. Granted, it’s understandable, and appreciated, but only to an extent. The only thing to do is stay strong and hope for the best. To get through the hard times with your head held high and your hopes even higher. Optimism is the key and as long as you stay positive and have people who love you, care about you, and will do things for you, then you’ll be just fine.

The times that we have shared together
I know will always stay
No matter if it rains
No matter if it snows
No matter if there’s a tornado in the sky

I always have the urge but I know it won’t do any good. Some things-most things aren’t worth the trouble. What’s the point if you never win, if it doesn’t matter that you’re needed to be doing two things at once, that you choose one conflict to avoid another. Having your cake and eating it too is just out of the question. It’s impossible. But the good out weigh the bad and it’s worth it in the end. Patience.
